In August, 2008, Skyline's design team was invited to the design contest for Ganzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall

The site for Ganzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall is situated in the downtown with an area of 6500 square meters. The theme of the exhibition is "Connecting to Chang, Zhu and Min, and Construting a new Ganzhou". Infinity as the basic design claim stands for the long history of Ganzhou, the endless achievements fulfilled in urban planning and the infinite objectives for a prosperous future. Infinity also incorporates the scenic and tourist factors of the mountainous area rich in rivers, lakes and cultural heritage.
Adaptation of the Design Idea
The exhibition design works with grand gestures that interconnect floor and walls as well as the single exhibition floors. The floor is structured in fractal elements that organize the rooms keeping them open and easy to find orientation.
The materials appear "immaterial". Backlit and clear white surfaces are contrasted with partly dark room ambiance. Mirrors are used to create endless spatial impressions.
Skyline's design proposal has been selected as one of the two excellent proposals and submitted to the city Government for final decision.
