On January 27th of 2011, news came from Maanshan: the highly expected Maanshan Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, after 100 days of construction, has successfuly been completed. The grand opening ceremoney was held in the morning, attended it are high level officials from both the municipal and provincial levels.

Maanshan Urban Planning Exhibition Hall is located at the middle section of Taibai Avenue. The three-storeyed building has the total construction area of 5500 square meters.

With the help of modern acoustic, lighting and electric equipments, the exhibition hall shows the urban planning and the achievements of the urban construction, as well as the history and the future vision of the Maanshan City. It provides an important platform for "Sunshine Planning" and "Public Participation". Meanwhile, it provides a significant window of promoting the "1255" City Development Strategy.
