On April 6, 2012, Skyline's Advance Team was sent to Yarkand at the invitation of the Urban Construction Administrative Bureau of Yarkand Government. The trip aims to know more about the local cultures and urban development history.
Yarkand is one of the four counties of Karshgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur [Uighur] Autonomous Region, that Shanghai has provided support to. At the beginning of the year, a few selected design firms was invited to participated the design competition of yarkand Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Skyline's professional design ability and positive attitude to the programme of supporting Xinjiang has made much impression to the panel. In late March, all design proposals were sent to Yarkand for the Four Leadership Team to choose. Without any suspense, they came to the unimous consent that Skyline's proposal is the best of all.
During the stay, the team visited various local sites, beside the construction site. We talked to people of different backgrounds and made visits to leaders of yarkand. Finally, we presented our modified design to the working team, and got positive yes to continue the indepth design.

It so happened that fourth Ba Danmu Flower Festival was hosted on April 8. Over 3000 people and 100 journalists participated this festival to celebrate the coming of Spring.
